1283749209 77 Acupuncture for bipolar disorder, or acupunture in general?

Has anyone tried acupuncture for bipolar disorder?
Is there a national board for acupuncture specialist? if so, does anyone know the number?
What are good questions to ask before going for a session?
What's the best way to pick a doctor?

Thanks!

bi polar is not a physical disorder.
it does not involve blood flow, or muscle tension.
it is completely a mental health issue, acupuncture is completely irrelevant to the mind, being a physical relief for muscle tension and the increase of blood flow. I doubt it would do anything to help.
